ABA Journal BLAWG 100

by Coach T.C. Coleman

This afternoon, my copy of the December 2007 ABA Journal featuring the The BLAWG 100 … The Best Web Sites By Lawyers, For Lawyers arrived.  Although this new and fabulous blog for lawyers - LawMapping - was not included on this year’s list, I did see a few of my favorites.   So … this blog post is dedicated to my top 7 blawgs written by lawyers … for lawyers.  Check out our favorites and then head over to the ABA’s Blawg Central to vote for your favorite blawgs.

7.      The Inspired Solo  is the first blawg on this list because Sheryl Sisk Schelin is from my favorite part of the U.S.A., the lowcountry of the great state of South Carolina.

6.      Quiz Law contains witty postings about legal and close-to-legal happenings.

5.      Legal Antics is an entertaining blawg featuring cartoons, jokes and funny snippets.

4.      What About Clients is all about getting and keeping clients.

3.      JD Bliss Blog often spotlights lawyers who are finding interesting ways to balance their work and life.  You’ll find a number of really good posts from guest bloggers on this blawg.

2.      Balkinization is a great blog that features essays from Yale Law School professor Jack M. Balkin and other assorted law professors on a wide variety of legal topics. Check it out.

1.      Black Prof.com is a fabulous blog on which law professors blog about significant legal, political and sociological issues. Be sure to check out this thought-provoking blog, especially the postings by Prof. Shavar Jeffries.

So, there you have it.   Our top 7 list of must read legal blawgs.   Let us know what you think about them and don’t forget to vote.

Until next time … Take GREAT Care!
